Treatment Pre-Care & Aftercare Guide
Your safety and results are our priority. Please follow the instructions below carefully before and after your treatment to ensure the best possible outcome.
Eyebrows (Hairstroke Brows / Powder Brows / Combination Brows)
Pre-Treatment Care
To prepare for your appointment:

Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment.

Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and other blood thinners for 48 hours (unless medically required).

Do not use retinol, exfoliating acids, or strong skincare products around the brow area for 7 days prior.

Avoid sunbeds, tanning, or sunburn for at least 1 week before treatment.

Do not wax, thread, or tint your brows within 3–5 days of your appointment.

Avoid Botox or fillers around the forehead area for 2 weeks prior.

Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments for at least 4 weeks before your treatment.

Eat before your appointment and stay hydrated.
Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential for healing and pigment retention.
For the first 4 days:
- Wipe every 3 hours with saline water/cool boiled water and apply a pea-sized amount of ointment after each wipe
After 4 days:
- Reduce wiping/ointment applications to just morning and night (for 2 weeks)
First 2 weeks post-treatment:
- Keep the brow area clean and dry.
- Apply the recommended healing balm in a thin layer as instructed.
- Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area.
- Avoid makeup on the brows.
- Avoid sweating, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, sunbeds and direct sun exposure
Healing timeline:
- Days 1–3: Brows appear darker.
- Days 4–7: Light flaking may occur.
- Days 7–14: Colour softens and settles.
A touch-up appointment is recommended after 4–6 weeks.
Lash Liner / Eye Liner
Pre-Treatment Care
- Remove contact lenses before the procedure.
- Avoid wearing eye makeup on the day of your appointment.
- Do not wear lash extensions.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours.
- Stop using lash growth serums at least 2 weeks before treatment.
Aftercare
- Mild swelling and watery eyes are normal during the first 24 hours.
- Avoid rubbing or touching the eyes.
- Avoid eye makeup for 7 days.
- Avoid sweating, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, sunbeds and direct sun exposure for 7-10 days
- Do not use lash curlers until fully healed.
Healing typically takes 7–14 days.
A touch-up appointment is recommended after 4–6 weeks.
Lip Blush
Pre-Treatment Care

Gently exfoliate lips 2–3 days before treatment.

Keep lips well moisturised.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medication for 24–48 hours.

If you are prone to cold sores, consult your doctor for antiviral medication before your appointment.

Avoid lip fillers within 2 weeks before treatment.

- Drink through a straw for the first 24 hours if possible.
- Avoid spicy, salty, or hot foods for several days.
- Do not pick or peel the lips.
- Light peeling may occur during the healing process.
Healing typically takes 7–14 days.
A touch-up appointment is recommended after 4–6 weeks.
Dermal Fillers
Pre-Treatment Care
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil for 48 hours.
- Avoid dental work 2 weeks before and after treatment.
- Do not attend your appointment if you have skin infections near the treatment area.
Aftercare
- Do not touch or massage the treated area for 24 hours.
- Avoid makeup for 12 hours after treatment.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure for 48 hours.
- Mild swelling and bruising may occur and usually settles within a few days.
Results typically settle fully within 10–14 days.
Body Tattoos
Pre-Treatment Care
- Stay well hydrated before your appointment.
- Eat beforehand to maintain blood sugar levels.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
Aftercare
- Leave the protective bandage on for the time recommended by your artist.
- Wash the tattoo gently with unscented antibacterial soap.
- Apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo aftercare cream.
- Avoid picking scabs or scratching the area.
For 2–3 weeks avoid:
- Sweating around treated area, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis, sunbeds and direct sun exposure
Full healing typically takes 2–4 weeks.
Brow Lamination
Pre-Treatment Care

Lash Lift
Pre-Treatment Care
- Remove all eye makeup before your appointment.
- Avoid waterproof mascara for 24 hours before treatment.
- Remove contact lenses prior to the procedure.
Aftercare
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid:
- Water or steam
- Mascara
- Eye rubbing
- Sleeping face down
Brush lashes gently each day to maintain their shape.
Results usually last 4–6 weeks.
