Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided at Brows Ink., including but not limited to:
- Permanent Makeup (PMU)
- Dermal Fillers
- Body Tattoos
- Lash and Brow Treatments
- Other Beauty Services
These policies are designed to protect both the client and the practitioner, ensure safe treatment practices, and maintain a professional working environment.
By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, or receiving treatment, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking & Appointment Confirmation
Appointments may be booked through:
- ‘Contact us’ page or chat function on website
- ‘That Time’ booking system
- Phone
- Social media platforms
- In person
Appointments cannot be reserved for clients and are managed on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis in line with deposit payments receieved.
When booking a new PMU treatment clients are expected to commit to two appointments (4-6 weeks apart), including healing time. It is the client’s responsibility to consider any special events which may be affected by the PMU healing process.
All PMU touch-up sessions must be attended within the aforementioned 4-6 week period; otherwise, the client may be asked to pay an additional fee due to avoidable pigment loss.
All requests to change eyebrow shape or lash/eyeliner style must be communicated prior to booking, as this does not constitute a ‘colour boost’ to existing PMU shape and style. You will be provided with a quote according to the complexity and time required for the desired changes.
‘Colour Boosts’ at Brows Ink. are strictly for existing clients only.
New clients who may have permanent makeup previously applied by another artist must get in touch with Brows Ink. directly to book a consultation to ascertain suitability for treatment as a new client and/or to receive a quote accordingly.
Appointments are only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
Brows Ink. reserves the right to refuse or cancel appointments at its discretion, including where client suitability or safety is a concern.
3. Deposits
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure all appointments, which includes 4-6 week touch-ups and colour boosts for PMU maintenance bookings.
Deposits:
- Secure the appointment slot
- Are deducted from the total treatment cost
- Are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation (if less than 48 hours’notice is provided)
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
A minimum notice period of 48 hours is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests.
If less than 48 hours’ notice is given:
- The booking deposit will be forfeited.
If a client fails to attend an appointment (no-show):
- The deposit will be lost.
- Future bookings may require full payment in advance.
Clients may only reschedule/change treatment a maximum of two times.
More than two appointment changes may result in loss of deposit and/or refusal of future bookings.
5. Late Arrivals
Clients are required to arrive on time for their appointment.
If a client arrives late:
- Treatment time may be reduced.
- If the delay exceeds 10 minutes, the appointment may be cancelled.
Late cancellations may result in the loss of the booking deposit.
6. Payments
Payment for treatments must be made in full on the day of the appointment, unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Cash
- Bank transfer (to business bank account)
- PayPal
- That Time / Klarna / Clearpay
Brows Ink. reserves the right to change treatment prices at any time. However, the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured
7. Consultations & Suitability for Treatment
Certain treatments require a consultation prior to booking or treatment.
All in-person consultations are subject to a non-refunable fee of £10. The fee is redeemable against the cost of a subsequent PMU / Filler / Tattoo booking. Free phone consultations may also be booked, subject to availability.
Consultations may include:
- Assessment of medical history
- Skin analysis
- Discussion of desired outcomes
- Explanation of treatment risks and limitations
Brows Ink. reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.
Reasons may include:
- Medical conditions

- Contraindications to treatment
8. Medical Disclosure & Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose complete and accurate medical information before treatment.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Allergies
- Skin conditions
- Current medications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Previous cosmetic procedures
- Blood disorders
- Autoimmune diseases
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may:
- Increase the risk of complications
- Affect treatment results

The clinic cannot be held responsible for complications arising from undisclosed or inaccurate medical information.
9. Patch Testing
Certain treatments require a patch test before treatment.
These may include:
- Permanent Make Up
- Lash lifts
- Brow lamination
- Tinting services
Clients who decline a patch test do so entirely at their own risk.
10. Age Restrictions
Clients must meet the legal age requirements for treatments.
Minimum ages include:
- PMU treatments: 18+
- Dermal fillers: 18+
- Tattoos: 18+
Valid photo identification may be requested.
Brows Ink. will not perform restricted treatments on individuals under the legal age.
11. Treatment Outcomes & Expectations
While every effort is made to achieve the desired outcome, aesthetic and cosmetic treatments are not an exact science.
Results may vary depending on:
- Skin type
- Lifestyle
- Healing response
- Aftercare compliance
- Individual biological factors
No guarantees can be made regarding:
- Exact results
- Longevity of treatments
- Colour retention for PMU
Although it is rare, if a third touch-up is required, a flat rate of £50 will apply to cover treatment costs and allocated time to maximise pigment longevity.
12. Touch-Ups & Maintenance
Certain treatments require follow-up sessions.
For example:
- Permanent Make Up treatments typically require a touch-up appointment after 4–6 weeks.
Touch-up appointments must be attended within the recommended timeframe.
If a touch-up is missed or delayed beyond the recommended period, additional charges may apply.
13. Pre-Treatment Care
Clients are responsible for following all pre-treatment instructions provided.
Failure to follow pre-care instructions may affect treatment results and may lead to treatment being postponed.
Brows Ink. reserves the right to refuse treatment if pre-care instructions have not been followed.
14. Aftercare Responsibilities
Aftercare instructions will be provided following treatment.
Clients must follow all aftercare guidance.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in:
- Infection
- Poor healing
- Reduced treatment results
- Additional corrective treatments
Brows Ink. cannot accept liability for complications caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions.
15. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aesthetic and beauty treatments:
- All treatments are non-refundable once performed.
Refunds will not be issued based on dissatisfaction with results where treatment has been performed correctly.
Corrective treatments may be offered at the practitioner’s discretion.
16. Adverse Reactions & Risks
All cosmetic procedures carry potential risks.
Possible side effects may include:
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Allergic reactions
- Infection
- Assymetry
- Pigment fading (PMU)
- Complete pigment rejection (PMU)
In the rare case of complete pigment rejection after an initial application, an alternative technique may be offered (at a 75% discounted rate to cover costs) for another 3-4 hour initial session. The aim would be to attempt the procedure again using a different method to prevent the likelihood of pigment loss. Should the 2nd attempt be successful, there will be nothing additional to pay at the touchup session, as this would have already been included in the cost of the initial appointment.
Clients must contact Brows Ink. immediately if they experience unexpected outcome or symptoms.

- Client intoxication
